Car
If you are driving from Adam's Peak, head southwest on the A7 road towards Hatton. After about 10 kilometers, turn right onto the B391 road. Continue on B391 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the area of Dehena Ella. You will see signposts directing you to the waterfall. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay a small fee, usually around 100-200 LKR.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Adam's Peak, walk to the nearest bus station. Take a bus heading towards Hatton; the journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Hatton, transfer to a local bus that goes to Dehena Ella. Make sure to ask the conductor to let you know when to get off. The total bus fare will be around 70-150 LKR. After disembarking, you might need to walk a short distance (about 1 kilometer) to reach the waterfall area.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more direct and comfortable option, hire a tuk-tuk from Adam's Peak. Negotiate the fare before starting your trip; it should cost around 600-1000 LKR depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. The tuk-tuk will drop you off near the entrance to Dehena Ella.
